Aspect of Pride

Your bloodline is full of pricks but they’re kinda saucy with it

Level 3: Watch What I Do Here

When you make a skill check, but before you roll the D20 you can announce your imminent success. Roll 1d8 and add it to your total. If you fail the check despite the bonus, you cannot use this feature again until you finish a Long Rest.

Level 3: You Dare?

As a Bonus action, which you can take as part of Entreating your spirits, you can spend 2 Heat to challenge one creature you can see within 30 feet. The creature must succeed a Wisdom saving throw, or fall under the effects of the Compelled Duel spell, with you as the caster. The effect lasts for 1 minute and doesn’t require Concentration. You can only have one creature affected by this feature at a time.

Level 6: Catalyst – Pride

You gain the aspect catalyst – Pride, found at the bottom of the catalyst list. This catalyst doesn’t count towards your total number of catalysts and you can’t replace it when you level up.

Level 10: I Know Best

As a Magic action you can spend 3 Heat to cast the Command spell, using Charisma as your spellcasting ability modifier.

Level 10: Faultless Self

Once per turn, when a creature fails a saving throw you forced it to make using a Fury feature, you can make it take Radiant damage equal to one roll of your Heat Die.

Level 14: I Am Above

As a Magic action that you take while Pride is drawn, you make one attack roll using Pride and compare it to the AC of each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you. Each creature the roll would hit takes Pride’s weapon damage plus 4 rolls of your Heat Die. Immediately after you use this feature Pride’s Heat Trigger ends early.

You can use this feature once, regaining usage upon finishing a Long Rest, unless you expend 12 Heat to restore your use of it (no action required).
