Warrior of Elasticity
Monks that follow the way of elasticity have learnt a level of focus so fine that they can extend the physical space between individual subsections of their body. The resulting effects appears as though their limbs stretch supernaturally beyond their bounds. Using this power these Monks often find themselves with circus’ as entertainers, using their powers to spread joy wherever they travel.
Level 3: Rubberman
You gain proficiency Acrobatics skill and you know the Thorn Whip spell. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for it. The you cast Thorn Whip you deal Bludgeoning damage instead of Piercing, as you arm whips out to grab the target.
Level 3: Elastic Fighting
At the start of your turn, you can expend 1 Focus Point to weave elastic energy into your form. The energy lasts for 10 minutes or until you have the Incapacitated condition. You gain the following benefits while this feature is active.
Stretch. When you make an Unarmed Strike, your reach is 10 feet greater than normal, as your arms and legs stretch outwards.
Flurry. You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. The special attack is a 15-foot Cone originating from you. Each creature in the Cone must succeed a Dexterity saving throw or take Bludgeoning damage equal to your Martial Arts die. When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.
Immediately after you use this attack, you can take a Bonus Action to push each creature that took damage from it 10 feet away from you.
Level 6: Insulant Ignorance
You gain Resistance to Lightning damage and Advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the Frightened condition. In addition, whenever you use your Slow Fall feature you always take 0 damage from the fall, regardless of total damage.
Level 11: Gear Shift
By learning to add elastic properties to certain aspects of your body, you can increase your effectiveness. At the start of your turn you can expend a number of Focus Points to activate one of the below effects, gaining it’s benefits for 1 minute of until you have the Incapacitated condition:
Gear 2: (2 Focus Points). By making your blood vessels elastic you speed up your ability to pump blood to your muscles. Your Speed increases by 10 feet and your Unarmed Strikes deal an additional 1 damage of their type.
Gear 3: (2 Focus Points). By making your bones more elastic you increase the potency of your attacks. While using your Elastic Fighting feature, your Unarmed Strikes gain a further 10 feet of reach, and your Flurry special attack deals an additional Martial Arts die of damage.
Gear 4: (4 Focus Points). By filling your limbs with air through a combination of your previous techniques, you gain the effects of Gears 2 and 3. In addition, you gain a Fly speed equal to your movement speed. You cannot hover.
Level 17: Bounce Back.
While using your Elastic Fighting feature, you gain Resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing damage.
In addition, when you are reduced to 0 Hit Points but not killed outright, you can expend all of your remaining Focus Points. You regain Hit Points equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die for each Focus Point expended, and you gain the effects of Gear 4 as per your Gear Shift feature.
